Dr. DeWanna Williams Greer, LPC-S, NCC, ACS
Dr. DeWanna Greer is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Counselor Educator, and Supervisor who shares a primary desire of empowering people to lead their “best emotional life”. Her counseling expertise encompasses a myriad of life events including trauma, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief and loss, depression, physical and emotional abuse, anxiety, relationship issues, spiritual concerns, church-related issues, couples, adolescents and families.
For the past 8 years, she has provided counseling services to the United States veteran population. Currently, she functions as Director of Project VALOR at San Antonio College and is the owner of Panache Counseling Group.
For over 25 years, Dr. Greer has actively served in the ministerial capacity which included Director of Project Blessing for Liberty Christian Center, Monroe, LA. Since her move to San Antonio, TX, she is a leader in the Celebrate Recovery Ministry at New Creation Christian Fellowship along with her involvement in other civic organizations such as Heal the Healer. She believes the Lord has given her this avenue to assist, navigate, guide, and empower those who desire benefaction with life’s challenges.
This Monroe, LA native earned her Master’s degree in Community Counseling from the University of Louisiana- Monroe. She also earned a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision. She is proud wife of 34 years to Gill Greer, mom of four adult children, and grandmother of one beautiful granddaughter.
